FMP - Post 8 - 13th April

Wednesday 13^th April 2016             

As we don’t have our director this week as she is away with students. So we had someone else in who we had lesson with before. I feel that the day was really help for the piece for example with did a run thought to beginning and she took notes. I feel that it wasn’t our best rehearsal but we have had worst ones. I feel that people were doing it but were doing at their best for me personal I feel that I was trying but the whole feeling in the room was truly focus so it seems to put me off and some other people off. I feel I performed my teacher scene well, it is my best scene at the moment as I am using my face and really animating my face and movements. When it came to my pararama scene I was less confidence as I know my signs but I not know them as well as I do my teacher scene I feel that I really need to get my focus back to learning my signs, I feel that I have lost some of the drive I had at the beginning of the progress. So I need to find that drive again for the last 3 weeks of my time at brit. so I need do about 3 runs of my signing each night and also work with the speaking reporter as well to practice keeping in time and as well as signing with someone talking, as I find that really hard to do.

The second run though was I’m not really know if it was better or worst to be honest as we got around the same notes from the first run but the sections she works on with us did improve. I find that I was doing all the right moves and being in the right places at the right time but I felt I was just going though it, I’m having trouble putting emotion in to it because we have done it so many times.

I feel that what Emma did with us help our opening section as well as how we carried our self on stage. I feel that having some one new come in and looked at the piece instant of someone who may not see the little things we have to do because they saw it a number of times. I feel that this week really help us improve the piece and I feel more confidence about it. If we keep having weeks like this up a till our show, I am getting exciting to perform this piece.
